Dorsey Dale Wilson age 76 a resident of Rt. 1 Moatsville passed away Wednesday October 12, 2011 at Hospice Regional Care Facility in Elkins. He was born on the family farm in Dent, WV June 10, 1935 a son of the late Delbert R. and Ruby B. (Bolyard) Wilson. He was united in marriage April 17, 1954 to Jean (Freeman) Wilson who survives. One grandson, Bryson David Taylor, Kasson
One brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Donna Wilson, Philippi
One sister-in-law, Rita Wilson, Nestorville
Mother-in-law, Sedalia "Sally" Freeman
Three brother and sister-in-laws, Arnold and Janet Freeman, Kasson
Bob and Grace Freeman, Pifer Mountain
Jim and Dotty Freeman, Tacy
Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by one brother Gale Wilson.
Mr. Wilson worked for Kines Motor Co. for 31 years as a shop foreman and wrecker driver. He later worked for Department of Highways for 12 years as a mechanic and a clerk at Builder's Center for 10 years.
He was a former member of Kasson United Methodist Church where he was a Sunday School and Bible School Teacher, Superintendant and Youth Leader.
Mr. Wilson was a founding member of New Beginning's Church.
He was Director of parking for the Blue and Gray Car Show and was a car enthusiast.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday, October 14 from 3-8 pm and on Saturday, October 15 from 8am-2 pm the service hour.
