Eileen Mayle, age 71, a resident of Philippi passed away Thursday May 21, 2015 in the United Hospital Center. She was born February 4, 1944 in Barbour Co. a daughter of the late Leroy and Jessie (Newman) Mayle. Eileen was united in marriage to Carney “Studbolt” Mayle who preceded her in death on January 28, 2014. Surviving is children

Eileen was preceded in death by three brothers and sisters, Kenny Mayle, Lenor Croston, Avera; Croston, Lemuel Mayle, Sarah Jo Collins, Columbus “Bob” Mayle.
Eileen worked as a CNA for Barbour County Good Samaritan Center. She enjoyed attending yard sales, fishing and traveling.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday May 22, from 5-8 pm and on Saturday May 23, from 8 am- 8 pm and on Sunday May 24, from 8 am- 2 pm the service hour with Rev. Jay Mayle officiating and speakers Mr. and Mrs. William Berdine participating. Interment will follow in the Welch Cemetery.
