Eric Allen Jones, age 50, a resident of Union Rd. Philippi went to be with his Lord, on Tuesday May 20, 2014. He was born May 8, 1964 in Wayne, MI, a son of Allen L. and Linda L. (Archibald) Jones who survives. He was united in marriage on December 23, 2005 to Cynthia “Cindy” (Smith) Jones who survives at home. Also surviving one son
Two daughters; Victoria George and husband Nick of Clarksburg
Sadie Rinker of Jane Lew
Two sisters; Lisa Kelley and husband Tom of New Martinsville, WV
Julie Spruill and husband Tom Jr. of Philippi
Four grandchildren and Leland George of Clarksburg
Eric worked at Delta Cooling in Philippi as an assemblyman.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman, enjoyed woodworking and loved the West Virginia Mountains. He was a member of the Flaming Sword Apostolic Church in Clarksburg.
Friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday May 23, from 5-8 pm and on Saturday May 24, from 8 am – 1 pm the service hour with Pastor Randy Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Pitman Cemetery.
