Freddie Allen Summerfield, age 46 a resident of Philippi passed away on Friday, June 5th, 2020 at his residence. He was born April 14, 1974 in Canton, OH, a son of the late Jack Summerfield and Josephine Summerfield who survives. Surviving-
Two sons, Freddie Summerfield, Jr. of Clarksburg
Clay Summerfield of Philippi
Two brothers, Jackie Summerfield
David Summerfield
Two sisters, Mildred Mayle
Nancy Noel, all of Philippi
Three Grandchildren- Christopher Gordon, Wesley Summerfield and Johnathan Lee Summerfield
Mr. Summerfield was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers
Freddie enjoyed hunting and fishing
Mr. Summerfield’s request for cremation will be honored and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Such a shock.. I had Freddie as a student in Middle School. I was a teacher's aide at that time.Freddie was such a good student and when he would see me in public years later he would always remember me and give me a hug.
