Goldie McVicker

Goldie Mae McVicker age 87 a resident of Rt. 3 Clemtown Community Philippi passed away Saturday November 14, 2009 in Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born May 21, 1922 in Barbour Co. a daughter of the late Hollis McVicker and Savannah (Murphy) McVicker Bartlett.
Surviving is;
One brother; Herbert "Joe" McVicker of Warren, OH
Several nieces and nephews
Ms. McVicker was preceded in death by one sister; Bertha Robinson, five brothers; Clyde Gus, Don Carl, Chilton, Ersel, and Foy McVicker, two step-brothers; Dellett and Perry Bartlett, and step-father; James Bartlett
Ms. McVicker was a homemaker and attended the Clemtown Church.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday November 17, from 6-8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday November 18, from 8:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. the service hour with Pastor Joyce Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Clemtown Cemetery.
