Jeffrey “Jeff” Alan Rogers, age 59, a resident of Belington, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 6, 2026. He was born October 25, 1966, in Barbour County, a son Charles Allen Rogers, surviving at home and the late Carol Jean (Everson) Rogers. Jeff was united in marriage on February 9, 1991, to Carla Lantz Rogers who survives at home. The two just celebrated their thirty fifth wedding anniversary. Also surviving; Son, Tyler Rogers and wife Emily of Nutter Fort, Daughter, Lauren Rogers of Belington, three grandsons, Nolan, Blaine, and Parker, father and mother in-law, Larry and Janice Lantz of Belington, sister Tammy Zimmerman of Philippi, Brother-in-law Doug Lantz and wife Paula of Belington, aunt, uncle, cousins, and several nieces and nephews. Jeff was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Estle and Mable Everson and paternal grandparents John and Atha Rogers. Jeff was the Chief Financial Officer at Barbour Community Health and worked for BC Bank for many years of his career. Jeff enjoyed golfing and bowling and was an avid sports fan. He achieved lasting success both on the playing field and in his professional career, and his dedication and excellence were ultimately honored with his induction into the Philip Barbour Hall of Fame in 2022.

With deep love and remembrance, we honor the life of an extraordinary husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose kindness and dedication touched countless lives. He was a man who believed deeply in family, community, and the importance of helping others. Throughout his life, he led with compassion, integrity, and a generous spirit that made everyone around him feel valued.

As a father, he was a steady source of wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional love. He took great pride in his family and worked tirelessly to ensure they felt supported and cared for. His guidance, patience, and quiet strength shaped the lives of his children in ways that will be felt for generations.

As a grandfather, he brought warmth, laughter, and endless stories. His grandchildren knew him as someone who always had time for them, whether it was sharing advice, cheering them on, or simply enjoying moments together. He treasured every memory made with them and left a legacy of love that will remain in their hearts forever.

Beyond his family, he was deeply involved in his community and was widely respected by those who knew him. He believed in giving back and spent much of his time supporting local events, helping neighbors, and contributing to causes that made his community a better place.

To his friends, he was loyal, dependable, and full of humor. He had a way of bringing people together and making everyone feel welcome. Many will remember his warm smile, his thoughtful advice, and the genuine care he showed to everyone he met.

Though he will be deeply missed, the impact he made on his family, friends, and community will never fade. His life was a testament to love, service, and kindness. Those who knew him are better because of him, and his legacy will live on through the many lives he touched.

He will be remembered always with love, gratitude, and respect.

Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday, March 11, from 2-8 pm and on Thursday, March 12, from 9 am – 12 pm the service hour with Evangelist Darrell Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Barbour Memorial Cemetery. Following the burial ceremony, friends and family are invited to gather for a Celebration of Life at Taj Moe Hall 31 N. Main St. Philippi. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Huntington’s Disease Society of America, payable to HDSA, referencing Team Hope West Virginia, at 505 8th Avenue S. #1402 New York, NY 10018.
