Resided in: Belington, West Virginia

Katie Jean (Lombardi) Pringle, 51, of Belington, West Virginia, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Katie was born on August 22, 1974, in Waterbury, Connecticut, the daughter of George Palmer and Kathleen (Fitzgerald) Grozki. On July 29, 2023, she married the love of her life, Robert L. Pringle. Katie adored her husband and family with her whole heart, and her love for them was evident in everything she did.

She worked in the accounts receivable department at Thermaxx Jackets, where she was known for her dedication and quiet strength. Outside of work, Katie found joy in simple pleasures—cooking when she was able, walking and hiking in the woods, listening to music, and being outdoors. She had a special way with children and loved entertaining neighborhood kids with popsicles, laughter, and kindness that made them feel welcome and cared for.

Katie deeply loved West Virginia and proudly considered it her home. She cherished the life she built there and the people who surrounded her. Her warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit touched many, and she will be remembered for the love she gave so freely.

Katie is survived by her loving husband, Robert L. Pringle; her mother- and father-in-law, Don and Linda Pringle; her sister- and brother-in-law, Sara Oglesby and her husband Patrick; her brother- and sister-in-law, Donald Pringle and companion; her special cousin, Mona Juan; her second cousin, Angel Juan; and her special neighbors, who were a meaningful part of her life.

Katie was preceded in death by her father George Palmer.

Katie’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
