Kenneth "Kenny" Eugene Chidester

February 20, 1968 ~ November 20, 2021

Kenneth “Kenny” Eugene Chidester, age 53, a resident of Buckhannon, passed away Saturday November 20, 2021 at his residence. Kenny was born February 20, 1968 in Alliance, OH a son of the late Gene Chidester and Juanita S. (Booth) Sandridge, step-father, Pete Sandridge who survives at Buckhannon. Also surviving- Son, Christopher Don Chidester of Buckhannon Grandchildren, Emma and Sadie Chidester Half-sisters, Faye Bell of Bruceton Mills Pam Anderson of OH Step-sisters, Marsha Vinning and husband Lucas of Louisiana Tesla Trader and husband Larry of Philippi Step-brother, Michael Sandridge of Colorado Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins Kenny was preceded in death by grandparents Shelby and Gertrude Booth, Sanford and Mae Chidester Kenny worked for DW Builders as a carpenter, he served in the US Navy. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his side by side, and socializing with his friends especially Dirt Dog and Bill. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday November 22, from 4-8 pm and on Tuesday November 23, from 8 am- 2 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery.

  2. Kenny, it breaks my heart for you to have to leave this world but you are not in any more pain. When you were helping me with Bobby I should have been taking care of both of you. I hope your mom is doing ok I did not come to anything I don't drive anymore so I just stay home

    Just rest in peace and you know GOD only takes the best flowers for his garden. I will always remember you and I will never forget playing the quarter machine with you at the store
