Keyaira Elizabeth Mambo

Keyaira Elizabeth Mambo, age 21, a resident of Philippi, passed away Friday April 3, 2020 in Ruby Memorial Hospital. Keyaira was born December 15, 1998 in Clarksburg, WV a daughter of Chris Mambo of PA, and Traci Baker of Clarksburg who survive. Also surviving- Brother, Jaden Mambo of Philippi Cameron Mambo of PA Sister, Niq Mambo of Fairmont Grandparents, Terry and Charlene McLean of Philippi Michael and Sabina Mambo of Zimbabwe Great-grandmother, Virginia McLean of Belington Uncle T.W McLean as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins Keyaira was preceded in death by great grandparents, Bertsel and Mary Gale Daugherty, and great-grandparent, Sterling McLean, and aunt, Constance Mambo Keyaira was a Junior at WVU; she loved life, swimming, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. Due to Covid- 19, a private family viewing will be held and cremation will follow. A Celebration of Keyaira’s Life will be held at a later date.

  1. Keyaira is one of my students who I will never forget because of her kind, bright, and bubbly personality. She was a joy to have in class and I have no doubt she would have done great things in her life. My sympathies and prayers go out to all of her family and friends. May God grant you all peace and comfort.

  7. I met Keyaira when she was in middle school and I was a teacher there. She was such a sweet girl who always seemed to have a smile on her face. She was a blessing to everyone who had the opportunity to meet her! Rest easy beautiful!

  8. I remember going to mammie and pappies house and you would always be there and i would talk to you and you would make me laugh. I looked uo to you and still look up to you everyday. You were my role model and you changed my life. I will never forget you. Fly high

  9. Chris always spoke of Keyaira as the person who changed his perspective to life, gave him a purpose to live for and focus. Through his love for his daughter I got to 'know' her. Her passing on hurt me as a friend and as a parent but I believe the God who allowed it to be will see the family through. Rest in peace Keyaira Elizabeth Mambo.

  12. I will miss our summer walks and crazy water aerobics that we tried to do at the pool. Lol We both loved that vanilla Cookie Crisp that we found at the grocery store on our trip to Tennessee, too bad it was limited edition and we could never find it again. You were my shoe soul sister! I will miss your enthusiasm for life but most importantly I will miss you. RIP pretty girl! Until we meet again! ❤️
