Leroy Brent Cutlip
February 17, 1947 ~ August 15, 2020
Leroy Brent Cutlip, age 73, a resident of Grafton, and a former resident of Buckhannon, died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday August 15, 2020. Leroy was born February 17, 1947 on Richwood, WV a son of the late Floyd ‘Little Peep” and Wilma “Dottie” (Arthur) Cutlip. Surviving is his loving companion of 23 years Priscila Hathaway of Grafton, and her son Jason Hathaway of Paris, France. Leroy is also survived by his sisters, Donna June Bowers of Bridgeport, Connie Rastle and husband David of Weston, Tena Shannon and husband Bill of Buckhannon, and several nieces and nephews
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Emily Sue Cutright and Joyce Cutlip
Leroy was a veteran and served with the National Guard. He worked for Union Drilling and Upshur Coal.
Leroy was an avid reader of Stephen King novels and enjoyed spending time with family and traveling to France.
Leroy’s request for cremation will be honored and a memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

My thoughts are with you Priscilla. I know you are devastated at losing him. I enjoyed seeing Leroy at the Harman family reunions and talking with him about travel. He was a joy to meet.
Leroy was a really great and funny person. He will be missed very much. My prayers are with his family.
He always made me feel welcome when I visited and would do anything to make my visit enjoyable. He was always willing to go to the store fir us; even bought hair color so I could color my hair while I was at their home. His love for Priscilla was obvious and Leroy thought of Jason as his son.
