Marcus Mayle

Marcus Mayle, age 68, a resident of Moatsville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday October 6, 2019 at his residence. Marcus was born February 4, 1951 in Barbour County, WV, a son of the late Denzil Mayle and Minnie (Poe) Mayle who survives at Moatsville. Also surviving is Daughter, Alicia Flynn and husband Edgar of Grafton Son, Chad Mayle and wife Brandy of Grafton Sisters, Opal Mickey and husband Dannie of Moatsville Connie Kennedy and husband Enoch “Rick” of Moatsville Four grandchildren, Alex Flynn and wife Brooklyn, Zayne Flynn, Madison and Emma Mayle all of Grafton Marcus was preceded in death by his father Denzil Mayle Marcus worked as a heavy equipment operator for several strip mines, he enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and attending sporting events that the grandchildren participated in. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday October 10, from 3-8 pm and on Friday October 11, from 8-11 am. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am with Rev. Jeff Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in the Welch Cemetery.
