Margaret Eileen Casto

Margaret Eileen Casto, age 81, resident of Audra Park Rd. Volga, passed away Monday December 11, 2017 in Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born January 2, 1936 in Upshur Co. a daughter of the late Charles and Martha (Shreve) Goodwin. Eileen was united in marriage on April 12, 1952 to Robert Casto who preceded her in death on December 19, 2016. Surviving is Daughter, Roberta Smith and husband Mike of Ohio Sons, RW Casto and wife Christina of Buckhannon Farmer Casto and wife Nancy of Virginia Gary Casto and wife Ruth of Ohio Sisters, Margorie Chewning and husband Arnold of Buckhannon Betty Waugh of Bridgeport Brother, Sherman Goodwin and wife Connie of Nutter Fort 13 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren Eileen was preceded in death by son, Roger L. “Tubby” Casto, brother, Carl Goodwin and sister, Maxine Lee. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking, and helping anyone that was in need. Eileen was a member of the Boulder United Methodist Church. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday December 14, from 5-8 pm and on Friday December 15, from 8 am- 2 pm the service hour with Rev. Sherman Goodwin officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
