I am so sorry for your loss. Mike was a friend of my late husbands (Tinker Jones). We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers during this time. Kathy Jones
Mike was a good friend of my folks’ and of mine. He was generous with wisdom and venison. In recent years I relied on him often for guidance and he always had a thoughtful response that helped a lot. He was one of the smartest and one of the strongest people I’ve known.
He mentioned a time sitting in the forest when the sky opened and a ray of sunshine moved into view as a red fox walked by, colliding in a rare gift of vibrant color and life he believed was from the creator. He was able to paint the image with words as though I saw it too.
He will be greatly missed.
Mike was my advisor in the PA program at AB (class of 94). He was always so encouraging and at a time I was really questioning myself and my future career, he assured me that I could do it. His kind words and support meant the world to me. My deepest condolences to the family and prayers for comfort.

So sorry to hear of Mikes passing, I worked with him in the 80’s at Broaddus and I learned so much from him, he was one of the best PAC’s I’ve worked with. Such a great person, so kind.
I didn’t know cousin Mike very well. I had no idea I had a cousin who also worked in healthcare. My prayers are with you Mavis and the rest of the family. I wish I had opportunity to know you all before. May you experience peace and joy as you reflect on Mike’s life.
Blessings to you all, Di (Linda’s daughter)
