Naomi Lavoue Overfield, age 86, a resident of Mansfield Place and a former resident of Volga passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 in Broaddus Hospital. She was born January 17, 1931 in Century, a daughter of the late Theodore and Elva Theora (Maxson) Payne. She was united in marriage on December 2, 1950 to Warren Miller Overfield who preceded her in death on October 10, 2002. Surviving is daughter, Vickie Johnson and husband Leonard of Volga
Brother, Frank Payne and wife Sherlene of Buckhannon
She was a homemaker, she enjoyed painting, reading, and watching game shows.
Ms. Overfield’s request for cremation will be honored.

Praying for my family as we mourn the loss of our “Boo” this week. She was a very special lady and we will never forget her! She is now in heaven with Warren, Maw Maw, Paw Paw, and Mom (Judy Payne) and so many others who were there to greet her on Sunday night as she parted this earth.
