Paul Duer Adams, age 90, a resident of Philippi passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024, at his residence. He was born August 31, 1933, in Grafton WV, a son of the late John and Ida Mabel (Marsh) Adams. Surviving is-
Brother, John R. Adams and wife Martha of Philippi
Sister-in-Law, Lois Adams, of Philippi
Mr. Adams was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy June Love; brothers, Jack D. Adams and Steve Marsh
Paul retired from Island Creek Coal Co. as a Welder.
Friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday, January 9th from 6-8pm and on Wednesday, January 10th from 8am-11am the service time. Interment will follow in the Nestorville Cemetery.

Paul was a saint, he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ on November 29th 2023.

Uncle Paul was a wonderful and kind man. His passing will leave an empty place in our hearts. So many wonderful childhood memories. He was dearly loved.
