Philip Green

Philip Ross Green, age 57, a resident of Cherry Hill Rd. passed away unexpectedly Friday June 28, 2013 at this residence. He was born December 10, 1955 in Philippi a son of Robert “Bobby” W. Green who survives at Cherry Hill Rd. and the late Geneva (Abel) Green. Surviving are Former wives, Debbie Dorsey of Clarksburg and Nancy Bogert of Orlando, FL One son, Taylor R. Green of Orlando, FL One sister, Patty Springer and husband Dean One brother, Jim Green both of Philippi Phil worked as an accountant and was member of the Theta XI Fraternity. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday July 1, from 5-8 pm and on Tuesday July 2, from 8- 11 am the service hour with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.

  1. Wow! Hard to believe. NEVER got a chance to see him at a reunion. My thoughts and prayers go out to his kids. We all had a good time in high school. RIP Phil.

We had so many great times together at school and sports and getting to know each others family. May God take care of Phil and his wonderful Mom, who always treated me like her son.   12. I played football and ran track with Phil in highschool. He would leave everything on the field, gave everything he had all the time. May he rest in peace.

  13. Sorry to here this news I knew Phil for a few years while we worked together and I met Mr and Mrs green. You are all very nice people and you have all my sympathy. If you don't remember me I was the young man with the beat up amc eagle. My best wishes.
