Scott and Robert, sorry to hear of the passing of your dad Roger, the first week working at Philippi Fire dept shortly after leaving the army, Roger was involved in sting operation and used my car since I had just returned to Barbour County. Your dad and I had many talks and I remember that he was the firefighter who yr after yr answered the most calls as a volunteer firefighter.
Good man. He will be missed. Good old “Bend of the River” guy.

I went to high-school with Roger and worked at the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, DC when he did. I send my sympathy and prayers to his loved ones during this time of sadness.

Scott, Rob, and Families. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. I have the fondest memories of your dad and his brothers. When we were kids, your dad and the “band of brothers” would come to our house on Christmas Day to play with our toys. My brothers and sisters and I would expect them to show up at some point during the day. The dart guns were especially fun with them. Cherish the memories!
