Ronald “Ronnie” Keith Haller, 76, of Moatsville, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at his residence.

 

Ronnie was born December 13, 1949, in Arden, West Virginia, a son of the late Calvin “Berl” Haller and Betty Lou (Reed) Haller.

 

He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Ronnie was employed as a welder with Bethlehem Steel and was also an avid farmer. He enjoyed camping and fishing and was known for always helping others whenever he could.

 

He is survived by his daughter, Christina Haller; his companion, Karen Lamb; his brother, Phillip “Phil” Haller; longtime companion, Cecelia Lake; sister-in-law, Sandy Haller; niece, Tracy Minor and husband Eric; nephew, Chad Haller; great-niece, Arden Minor; great-nephew, Benjamin Minor; his K-9 companion, Lucky; and feline companion, Smoky.

 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Berlin Douglas “Doug” Haller.

 

Family and friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home and On-Site Crematory, 220 N. Walnut Street, Philippi, on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mike Rexroad officiating.
