Sandra Kay Boram, age 64, a resident of Philippi, passed away Friday September 6, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family. Sandra was born November 23, 1959, in Philippi, a daughter of Darrel Ralph Norris and Genevieve (Newman) Norris.
Sandra enjoyed boating, spending time with her grandchildren, sitting on her porch watching the hummingbirds, tending to her flowers, and watching her stories. She retired as an LPN from Rest Care after 27 years of service. She had also worked for Crestview Manor and Barbour County Good Samaritan.
Sandra is survived by her father Darrel Norris; companion Lonnie Frey; sons Derek Norris, Joshua Boram, and Ethan Boram and wife Miranda; 13 grandchildren Kinsely, Remmy, Rowan, Colter, Jenna, Jaxson, Oliva, Judith, Peyton, Braxton, Carson, Paislee, Emma.
Sandra was preceded in death by her mother Genevieve Norris.
A Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday September 14, at 1 pm in the People's Chapel Church. A meal of fellowship will follow at the completion of the service.
