Sophia Jane Fenstermacher

Sophia Jane Fenstermacher, age 7, gained her heavenly wings on Tuesday January 30, 2024. Sophia was born July 12, 2016 in Morgantown, WV a daughter of Charles “Chuck” and Sarah (Abram) Fenstermacher. Sophia was the light of everyone’s world. Her smile was infectious to everyone that knew her. She had a love for music that made the bass rattle. Sophia loved jeep riding, 4 wheelers, and camping. She was a warrior that kept pushing. She will be missed tremendously by everyone who knew her. Also surviving brother, Joshwa Bennett; sisters Skyla Fenstermacher and Samara Fenstermacher; paternal grandparents David and Debbie Fenstermacher; maternal grandmother Elaine Abram; paternal great grandmother Nancy Fenstermacher; maternal great-grandparents Theron “TO” and Hazel Harden; paternal uncle David “DJ” Fenstermacher and companion Brittany Marsh and Travis Yost; maternal aunts and uncles Pam (Anthony) Davis, Mandy (James) Hardy, Scott (Tanya) Hardy, Crystal(Joseph) Swain, Felisha (David) Cheney, Jenne Trimble, Jason (Bobbie) Abram; additional aunts and uncles Kenny and Kim Carder, Kelsey (Jordan) Swick; special great-aunt and uncle Herman and Ellen Carter; paternal great-great aunt Pat Johnson; several cousins, friends and community members. Sophia was preceded in death by sister Alexis; paternal grandparents Walter R. and Ruby Johnson; maternal grandfathers Randy Hardy and Stan Abram; paternal great-great grandparents Walter “Buck” and Helen Johnson; paternal great-great uncles Douglas James “Jimmy” Johnson and William “Bill” Johnson, Dennis Johnson Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and on-site Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday February 2, from 4-8 pm and on Saturday February 3, from 8am – 2 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm with Pastor Sam Haught officiating. Interment will follow in the Belington Fraternal Cemetery.
