Staley D. “John” Wilmoth age 87 a resident of Barberton, OH passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from injuries sustained in a farm tractor accident at his family farm in Union Community Philippi. He was born April 26, 1927 in Barbour Co. a son of the late Wayne D. and Von (Parks) Wilmoth. He was united in marriage on September 27, 1948 to Betty L. (Burner) Wilmoth who survives. Cecil L. Wilmoth both of Barberton, OH
One grandchild, Steven L.D. Wilmoth of Barberton, OH
One great-grandchild, Anakin L.D. Wilmoth
Mr. Wilmoth retired as a mechanic for Babcock & Wilcox’s Company.
He loved doing mechanic work.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 12-8 pm and on Sunday, August 31 from 8am-2 pm the service hour with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery with military honours being accorded.
