Suzanne Marie Hollen

Suzanne Marie Hollen, age 39, a resident of Philippi, passed away Thursday March 7, 2024 in Mon General Hospital in Morgantown after a brief illness and death was unexpected. Suzy was born August 19, 1984 in Philippi. Suzy enjoyed making crafts, spending time with her K-9 companion Pretzel, and had a love for all animals. Suzy is survived by her biological daughter Avah M. Johnson; mother Sunny Lake and companion John Cutright; grandparents Cecil and Freda Lake; siblings Cyndi Mayle and Eddie, Jason Lake and Devin, Jeremy Lake and Anna; Aunt Cecilia Lake and companion Phil Haller; niece Taylor Mayle and companion David White; nephew Brodie Mayle; and extended family members. Suzy was preceded in death by her uncle Matthew V. Lake. Friend will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and on-site Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday March 16, from 10am- 4 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jim Strawderman officiating.
