William Bohon

William Howard Bohon, age 92, a resident of Parsons, passed away Monday, August 10, 2015 in Broaddus Hospital. He was born June 4, 1923 in Preston Co. a son of the late Willie Hazes and Lottie Catherine (Goff) Bohon. He was united in marriage on May 24, 1952 to Phyllis Delores (Sigley) Bohon who preceded him in death on December 4, 2007. Surviving are Four daughters; Lottie Nestor and husband Jerry of Parsons Dottie Singleton of Belington Bonnie Ancell and husband John of Century Susie Haller and companion John Huffman of Audra Community Two sons; Timothy Everly of Morgantown William Bohon and wife Tina of Philippi 12 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren Mr. Bohon was preceded in death by one grandson; Jerry Lee Nestor, and two brothers He worked as a saw operator for Sissler Lumber Co. He attended the St. George Church of God. Mr. Bohon enjoyed camping, fishing, and shopping. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. on Thursday August 13, from 5-8 pm and on Friday August 14, from 8 am- 2 pm the service hour with Pastor Carolyn Shreve officiating. Interment will follow in the Joseph’s Chapel Cemetery.
