Agnes (Payne) Spotloe came to the end of her journey on Saturday, August 27, 2011. She passed away in Broaddus Hospital peacefully. She was the daughter of Rosco and Dona (Strader) Payne of Century.
Surviving are: three daughters;
Cathie Rivlin
Carolyn Wilson and husband Paul both of SC
Sharon Snider of Charleston
Two sons: Tony Spotloe and wife Jane of Pittsburgh, PA
Kevin Spotloe of Philippi
One sister, Blanche Dawson, Berkley Springs
Special Friend, Glen Marshall, Fairmont
13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by one son, Phil; one grand-daughter, Stacey and her ex-husband and good friend Mike Spotloe Jr..
Ms. Spotloe attended Philippi United Methodist Church.
She was retired from Heck's Department Store as a district auditor.
Agnes loved sports, she bowled on a Philippi League for 40 years; she loved Mountaineer Football and Basketball and never missed her beloved Pirates.
Aggie will be forever missed and loved by all of her family. God Bless You!
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday August 29, from 7-8 pm and on Tuesday August 30, from 8-11 am the service hour. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.

I will miss you, our many conversations, and the good advice. You always did have a way with words…… I will think of you often and kept you close to my heart.
