Andrew L. Skrodinsky age 80 a resident of Mansfield Place of Broaddus Hospital and a former resident of San Diego CA passed away Sunday May 24, 2009 in Mansfield Place. He was born November 9, 1928 in New York City, NY a son of the late Andrew and Anna (Christoff) Skrodinsky. Surviving is;
One sister-in-law; Carol Skrodinsky of Volga
Six nephews
Mr. Skrodinsky was preceded in death by one sister Cecelia Sootile of Carrolltown, PA, one brother; Richard A. Skrodinsky
Mr. Skrodinsky worked as a heavy equipment operator for the International Union of Operating Engineers Local # 12 in San Diego, CA
He served in the US Marines Corps Reserves from 1946-1951 during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Skrodinsky request from cremation will be honored. There will be no visitation or services.
Memorial contributions may be made in Andrew's Memory to the Activity Department at Mansfield Place of Broaddus Hospital.

No one informed me of Uncle Andy's passing. He was a great man and is with his brother (my Grandpop) and the rest of the family. Love you Uncle Andy, God Bless!
