Annabell Haller

Annabell Haller, age 77, a resident of Philippi, passed away Wednesday August 30, 2017 at her residence. She was born January 9, 1940 in Philippi a daughter of the late Oren Lester and Goldie May (Everson) Jones. Annabell was united in marriage on December 18, 1965 to Albert Hughes Haller who survives at home. Also surviving Two daughters, Alberta Marie Haller and companion Tommy Norris Kelly Ann Dean and husband Eric both of Philippi Son David Ray Jones and wife Gail of Canton, OH Five grandchildren, Erica Dean and fiance Shane, Cody Dean and wife Amber, Michael Dean, Misty Brown and husband Shawn, Lance Jones Seven great grandchildren, Noah Brown, Arabella Brown, Jasper Dean, Kodi Dean, Braxton Jones, Bentley Jones, Landyn Jones Annabell was preceded in death by one son, Marvin Lester Jones; three sisters, Gladys Poling, Marie Shanabarger, Rosalie Shockey. Annabell had worked as a cook for City Restaurant. She enjoyed setting on her porch and being outdoors. She was a member of the Belington Church of Christ. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday September 4, from 12-2 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm with Evangelist Michael Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Pitman Cemetery.
