Annette Kay Stalnaker

October 29, 1942 ~ March 22, 2015

Annette Kay Stalnaker, age 72 a resident of Buckhannon passed away on Sunday March 22, 2015 at the home of her caregiver Diane Robinson. She was born October 29, 1942 in Sutton, WV a daughter of the late Willis “Guy” and Mabel Edith (Westfall) Harper. She was united in marriage on December 31, 1965 to Jerry D. Stalnaker who survives at home. Also surviving One daughter: Lori Morgan and husband Keith of Grafton One son: Todd Stalnaker and wife Andrea of Philippi Two sisters: Karen McCune of Myrtle Beach, SC Ginger Straight of Barrackville, WV One brother: Robert Billeter and wife Ilene of Weston Seven grandchildren: Jaron, Jasmia, Jerin, Zach, Morgan, Adam, Emma Two great grandchildren: Serenity and Avyanna Kay was preceded in death by two brothers; Forrest and Karl Harper, one sister; Marguerite Bates Kay served at Vice president and secretary for Stalnaker Coal. She enjoyed line dancing, and aerobics. She was a member of the Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday March 24, from 5-8 pm and on Wednesday March 25, from 8 am – 2 pm the service hour with Speaker Judy McDaniels and Rev. Weese Day officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
