Mr. Kolitsch was my shop teacher at Philippi High School in Philippi, West Virginia. I am 85 now and he taught me things that I have used for all of my life. I owe him so much. I still have the cedar chest that he let me build in 1954. The materials were $14.00. I'll never forget him. RIP Mr. Kolitsch.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Kolitsch were teachers of mine and I remember both very fondly. In 2004 I visited him in his shop and admired some wood - as a result he made me some bookshelves from black walnut he bought and stored when he got out of the Navy. God bless them both.j

My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. I have fond memories of both Mr. and Mrs. Kolitsch from my days at Philip Barbour High School and from visiting Mr. Kolitsch at his shop in Mansfield. I have several of his pieces in my home. He did such wonderful work.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I live out of state but check the e-newspaers in the area each day. Today I saw where Mr. Kolitsch had died very sorry to hear this. I had his wife for some of my classes at Philip Barbour they both were very nice people. I sent a notice to others from high school I know how to reach.
