Surviving is; one son: John Ward II and wife Sabrina of Philippi
One sister: Virginia Till and husband Robert of Bonita Springs, FL
Two brothers: Earl Haddix and Betty of Millboro Springs, VA
Guy Haddix and wife Linda of Stoney Point, NC
Two grandchildren: Jamie (Ward) Davis and husband Rob of Martinsburg, WV, Jason Ward and wife Tori of Belington
Four great grandchildren: Emily Davis, JT, Noah and Jorjalynn Ward
Barbara was preceded in death by one daughter: Vicki Lynn Ward, one brother: Ralph Haddix, one sister: Edith Carman.
She worked for Broaddus Hospital as a Operating Room Technician. She was a member of the Philippi United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday November 19, from 5-8 pm and on Sunday November 20, from 8 am -2 pm the service hour with Rev. Tim Bleigh officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
