Betty Burner

Betty Jo Burner age 75 a resident of Rt. 2 Belington passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2009 in Broaddus Hospital. She was born July 21, 1934 in Grafton, WV a daughter of the late Merton and Francis (Smith) Bolton. She was united in marriage October 30, 1950 to Arley R. Burner who preceded her in death April 23, 2006. Surviving is: One daughter, Janice Elaine and husband Larry Lantz, Midway Rd. Belington Two sons, Michael Duane and wife Reta Burner, 4-H Rd. Philippi David Lynn and wife Karin Burner, Frostburg, MD One sister, Linda and husband Ron Corley, Belington One brother, Jerry and wife JoAnn Bolton, Fairmont Nine grandchildren; Carla and husband Jeff Rogers of Belington; Douglas and wife Jennifer Lantz of Philippi; Chad Burner and Sonya Wolfe of Philippi; Alan and wife Shelley Burner of Belington; Daniel Burner and wife Melissa Burner of Philippi; Benjamin and wife Amber Burner of KY; Joshua Burner of CA; Heather Stevens, MD; and Tyler Stevens of MD. Ten Great-Grandchildren; Zackery Lantz, Tyler Rogers, Jonathan Stock, Lauren Rogers, Tanner Lantz, Abigail Burner, Rebekah Burner, Trevor Burner, Sarah Burner and Allie Burner. Ms. Burner was a member of Silent Grove Homemakers , Tyhannon Sportsman Club and attended Faithway Baptist Church. Ms. Burner's request for cremation and no services will be honored.   1. My condolences to all the family on your loss. Betty was a good lady and had a family that she loved. I will remember her from the bowling on Thursday nights. She was a good bowler. May her soul rest in peace and she is in her Heavenly home now.
