Betty Mullenax

Betty Delores (Haller) Mullenax, age 78 a resident of Laurel View Apartment in Belington passed away Tuesday March 15, 2011 in Mon General Hospital following an extended illness. She was born September 14, 1932 in Simpson, WV a daughter of the late Willie W. and Mary Ethel (Bays) Haller. She was united in marriage on December 22, 1983 to Grover D. Mullenax who survives. Also surviving is One daughter: Peggy S. Tincher and husband Johnny of Philippi Two sons: Robert Lee Golden Jr. of Mt. Olive, WV Aaron "Keith" Harris and wife Regina Lynn of Belington Three sisters: Irene Thompson of Philippi Pauline Swick and husband Lawrence of Philippi Kathleen Swick of Valley Bend Two brothers: Albert Haller and wife Annabell of Philippi Donald Haller and wife Cathy of Moatsville eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren Mrs. Mullenax was preceded in death by one grandson, and one infant brother Willie Haller Jr. Mrs. Mullenax was owner and operator of Mullenax Personal Care Home, and also worked as a cook at the Medallion Restaurant. She enjoyed bowling and playing cards. She was a member of Faith Way Baptist Church. Friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday March 17, from 5-8 pm and on Friday March 18, from 8 am-2 pm the service hour with Pastor Downing Gregory officiating. Interment will follow Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery. Friday March 18, 2011, 2 pm at Wright Funeral Home Click for Map and Directions
