Brandon leaves behind his son Logan Welch; mother Pamela “Pam” Herbert; and former wife Courtney Hardesty.

Brandon was an avid motorcross racer in his younger years.

Brandon, Where do I start? U were more than just my fiancé, u were my best friend...u were there anytime I needed u, no matter the place or time!!! When I was in the hospital, ur the only one that didn't leave my side! All of those is soooo hard for me to believe, it just hasn't sank in fully, there's times I still want to call ur phone or times that I roll over to hold u and ur not there!!! I would do anything in this world just to see ur face, have a conversation with u, or hold u one last time!!! U were my world, my everything and I will ALWAYS ❤️ u!!! IGod took u from me waaaaay too soon, but I guess it was ur time to go, but I know ur not suffering anymore and that's what gets me through the days without u...fly high, baby, until we meet again!!! R.I.P. Brandon u will truly b missed!!! Love, your girl ALW

I have so many wonderful memories of my son. He had such a good heart. A small private celebration of his life will be held. He would have wanted it simple. Love you Brandon.
