Brenda Coates Kisner, age 65, of Philippi, WV passed on November 7, 2024, joining her husband and son after a lifelong battle with cancer.
Brenda was born 11/14/1958 in Richfield, UT and was married to James A. Kisner, preceding her in death on June 27, 2016. Also preceded in death by her son Shane A. Kisner, who passed on November 19, 2021, she leaves behind her daughter Heather Rae Peace and grand-daughter Maxine Rae Kisner.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Marcus DeVante Kisner, Essence JoAnn Kisner, Kaiden Andrew Kisner, Mark Anthony Peace, Shania Lynn Peace Moore, Nevaeh Lee VanPelt and Naiesha Paige VanPelt, and ten great grandchildren.
Brenda enjoyed her quiet rural life in the community of Mt Liberty West Virginia. She enjoyed spending her life providing a home and caring for her rescue animals. Brenda was known and loved by many and will be missed dearly. She loved Thanksgiving and was able to participate in an early dinner with immediate family before her passing. We will honor her memory with a Thanksgiving dinner open to everyone who would love to come celebrate her memory with us. November 23rd at 1pm at Mt Liberty Community Building all are welcome to join.
