Brian Lee Cleavenger

February 3, 1991 ~ October 30, 2018

Brian Lee Cleavenger, age 27, a resident of Galloway Community passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday October 30, 2018 at his residence. Brian was born February 3, 1991 in Harrison Co. a son of Robert L. Cleavenger and the late Linda (McGee) Cleavenger who preceded him in death. Surviving is his maternal grandmother, Flora McGee Brian was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Charles McGee, and paternal grandparents Paul and Evelyn Cleavenger. Brian worked as a laborer for Weir Oil and Gas Co. He enjoyed woodworking and tending to his chickens. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Sunday November 4, from 12-2 pm. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm with Evangelist Michael Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.

  2. I remember Evelyn Cleavenger as a child. If I remember correctly she was a cook at the Browton Elementary School. She was a sweet lady. Prayers for the family.

  4. I worked with Brian at KLX Energy, I’ll always remember him as one of our hardest workers as he successfully took on multiple positions in all departments. He didn’t always talk much but I’ll always remember his kind and gentle smile when I ran into Brian working in one of the yards or underneath heavy equipment. He’ll be dearly missed by all, and wish him the best on his journey to meet his Father in Heaven and wish to pass my Sincerest condolences to Brian’s friends and dearest family.
