Mason Parker and I adore the family! Y’all were such a key part of our family for so many years.
Even though it’s been a while since we’ve seen y’all, y’all have always treated us like family. I love that we could always pick up where we left off, no matter how much time passed. Y’all will always be “Uncle Eddie and Aunt Pappy“
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Prayers for comfort during this sad time and in the days ahead for all of Eddie’s family.
Eddie was a personal good friend of mine His sister Charlene became a personal friend back in the 80’s and I loved visiting Eddie and Charlene/Tommy In Powell’s Point. .He built the cobblestone fireplace in my home at Whalehead beach 1977 and taught me how to build a septic tank in Corolla when there were only sand roads..Eddie was a hard worker and loved his family. He taught Jon the business of Septic tank installation and provided him with the skill he would need to survive in business. .He was an avid duck hunter and we spent many years in duck blind in Lower Currituck and in the Albemarle Sound behind his home. I had the pleasure of teaching Marine Biology to his daughter Rachel and watched Jon as a superb athlete at CCHS. Jon is now part of my family and I wish the family to know how sad this news comes.
We would like to send our sincerest condolences. I miss the time I spent plowing around with Eddie, they were some real good times! Rest In Peace and the happiest of heavenly hunting Eddie !

Eddie Younts, what a guy. Words can’t describe my thoughts and memories of Eddie. He truly was an individual whom I shall never forget, one of those people you only get to know one time in life, if you are that blessed. Glad to have known him and been a friend. My deepest sympathies to all of you in Eddie’s family, you were truly blessed to have him and been his son, daughter, wife, uncle, grandchild, etc. Good thing is, it’s not the end of the story! We will see him again one day!
