Charles L. Kirkpatrick, Jr. age 64 a resident of Philippi, passed away Monday May 4, 2020 in the Cleveland Clinic, in Cleveland, OH. Charles was born November 14, 1955 in Clarksburg, WV a son of the late Charles L. Kirkpatrick, Sr. and Wanda R. (Merritt) Kirkpatrick. Charles was united in marriage to Gloria Sue (Dean) Kirkpatrick who survives. Also surviving-
Daughter, Barbara Jo Durst and husband Martin Gene
Sisters, Patsy Todd, Melinda Todd, Carla Siders
Brothers, Tim Kirkpatrick, Ray Kirkpatrick, Barry Kirkpatrick
Grandchildren, Ryan, Emily, Ethan, and Seth Durst
He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Ken Kirkpatrick
Charles worked for Bill Snoddy Trucking in Uniontown, PA, as a truck manager. He served in the US Army, and was a member of Living Water Church in Philippi.

I am so sorry for your loss. A very nice man
Chuck was one in a million and we all loved him at AGH. I remember calling Chuck in for his heart transplant in June of 2015. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was eating an ice cream cone… He needed to finish up and get to AGH! Over the years I got to know him and Gloria. Every time Chuck came to the hospital, regardless of the situation, he was always joking and smiling. He may have been tired, and sick of being sick but the man had a personality that would shine through all of that. I'm blessed to have gotten to know Chuck and Gloria. You are such sweet people. I will forever be grateful that my job brought me to cross paths with you.
Thank you for sharing Chuck with all of us here at AGH. He will be greatly missed, and never forgotten.
Anyone that has met you and your wife Gloria we’re blessed. You and your wife were so kind to everyone. I’m blessed to have met you and you will truly be missed. Thoughts and prayer with your family while they heal.
