Charles Wayne Pond, age 56, a resident of Philippi, passed away Wednesday January 1, 2025. Charles was born January 17, 1968 in Delaware a son of Charles William Pond and Carolyn (Dill) Dasher.
Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on cars.
Charles was preceded in death by his father Charles William Pond, and stepfather Wayne Dasher.
Charles is survived by his wife Lora (Collins) Pond; children Charles Joseph Pond, Brittany Dawn Pond, Carol Ann Pond and companion Boyd Allen Christian II; eleven grandchildren; siblings Samantha, James, Robert, Mike, Janet, Judy, Billy, Ricky, Brandon, Donna; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and on-site Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi, on Wednesday January 8, from 2- 4 pm. In following with Charles’ wishes cremation will be honored following the viewing.
