Cheryl Rae Kennedy, age 65, of Philippi, passed away unexpectedly on Monday February 22, 2021 at the home. Cheryl was born June 8, 1955 in Barbour County a daughter of the late Isaac and Lillie (Poe) Kennedy. Surviving is
Sister, Velma Adams and husband Mike of Philippi, Cheryl lived with her sister Velma and brother-in-law Mike for the last 10 years after her father passed away.

Cheryl was preceded in death by brothers, Jeff Kennedy, Vulius Kennedy, and Isaac Scott Kennedy
She enjoyed watching TV and attending Olive Hill Church.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday February 25, from 5-8 pm and on Friday February 26, from 8am- 2 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm with Pastor Ron Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Welch Cemetery.
