Clifford Eurit Hudkins, Sr.

Clifford Eurit “Jake” Hudkins, Sr. age 74 a resident of Brushy Fork Rd. passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at his residence. He was born June 6, 1944 in Barbour Co. a son of the late Bonard E. and Helen Louise (Edwards) Hudkins. He was united in marriage to Judith Ann (Snyder) Hudkins who preceded him in death on September 8, 2006. Surviving is- One son, Clifford Eurit, Jr. One sister, Patricia Flint and husband Henry One Brother, Charles Hudkins and wife Darlene all of Brushy Fork Two grandchildren- Megan Hudkins-Reed and husband Joshua of Clarksburg and Caleb Hudkins of Brushy Fork Two great-grandchildren- Laurie Ann and Alannah Jones of Bridgeport Mr. Hudkins was preceded in death by one daughter, Jacqueline Renee Hudkins; one sister, Kathy Rowe and two brothers, Roger Dale Hudkins and Arthur Clyde Hudkins He was a farmer and coal miner for Laurel Coal Company He loved hotrods and to farm Friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 11am-2pm the service hour with Rev. Scott Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery.

Uncle Jake, you are the greatest amazing man next to my daddy… you were and always will be my second dad… I'm at a loss for words you know how much you mean to me and how much I love you…my heart is completely broke into.But I know you're with all of our loved ones we lost entirely to soon and I know you're going to be watching over me and my kids and that gives me some comfort! You're flying high and no longer in pain and that means everything to me. I love you and miss you so very very much!
