Clinton Dean

Clinton Junior Dean, age 55, a resident of Point Pleasant Rd. Belington passed away Thursday May 1, 2014 in the Hospice Care Inpatient Unit in Elkins. He was born January 22, 1959 in Buckhannon, WV a son of the late Clinton Andrew Truman Dean and Agnes Mildred (Robinson) Dean. He was united in marriage on March 1, 1980 to Denise R. (Howell) Dean who survives at home. Also surviving Step Mother; Judy Dean of Philippi Three sons; Walter Howell and fiancée Elyse Hirsch of Stow, OH Samuel Paul Dean and wife Yvette of Tampa, FL Jacob Ryan Dean and wife Teena of London, KY Three grandchildren; Zachary Dean, Alex Dean, and Annabelle Hirsch Five sisters; Connie Davis and husband Tom Cheryl Golden and husband Mike Tammy Stuart and husband Charlie Mary Streets and husband Claude all of Philippi Marcon Dean of Elkins Five brothers; Jim Dean and wife Pat of Century Larry Ritter and wife Barb of Zelienople, PA Bill Golden and wife Erin of VA Eric Todd Dean and wife Kelly of Philippi Clinton Andrew Dean and wife Sherri of Lake Wales, FL Two aunts; Christine Sherman Virginia Shanabarger both of Philippi Several Nieces and Nephews Clinton was preceded in death by one son; Clinton Junior Dean Jr., two brothers; Terry Ritter, and Gary Ritter. Clinton was a truck driver for Max TRANS, LLC. He served in the US Marines from 1977-1980. He was an avid woodworker, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tinkering with just about everything. He was a member of the Union Church of Christ. He cherished everyday loving his wife and making her happy. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Sunday May 4, from 1-4 pm. Funeral services will be held at 4 pm with Evangelist R.D. Ice officiating. Military honours will accorded following the funeral service. Clinton’s request for cremation will be honored and will follow the funeral service on Sunday. Sunday May 4, 2014, 4 pm at Wright Funeral Home Click for Map and Directions
