Constance Louise (Spotloe) Daugherty, age 80, a resident of Maple Ave. Philippi, passed away Monday January 21, 2012 in Broaddus Hospital. She was born July 11, 1932 in Century a daughter of the late Edward and Sophia (Vance) Spotloe. Surviving are:
Two daughters, Gwendolyn Daugherty
Priscilla Green and husband John both of Philippi
Two sisters, Mary Lee Kople of Philippi
Joan Spotloe of Fairmont
Brothers, Richard Spotloe of Philippi
Three grandchildren, three great grandchildren
Ms. Daugherty was preceded in death by her former husband Edmund Daugherty, and son Craig Daugherty.
She was a former dietician for Broaddus Hospital, a member of the Philippi United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday January 23, from 6-8 pm and on Thursday January 24, from 8-11 am the service hour with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
