Darlene June Welch, age 48, a resident of Montrose passed away Saturday May 10, 2014 at Broaddus Hospital. She was born September 12, 1965 in Canton, OH a daughter of the late Earl and Larcena Tina (Bills) Wilson. She was united in marriage on July 12, 1996 to James “Jimmy” Russell Welch who survives. Eight grandchildren
Mrs. Welch was preceded in death by one brother Vernon Wilson. She was a homemaker, enjoyed fishing, camping and listening to Oldie’s. She was a Pentecostal by faith.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday May 14, from 11 am – 2pm the service hour with Rev. Lewis Beck officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
