Dolores Mae Mayle (83) of Bruceton Mills, WV passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 11, 2019.

Dolores was born to the late Hoy and Dorothy (Mayle) Norris on March 3, 1936 in Philippi, West Virginia.

She was a 1954 graduate of Philip Barbour High School.

Dolores loved gardening, canning and singing in church. She was a devoted, loving wife and a wonderful grandmother who loved spending time with her family.

Dolores is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lemuel Junior Mayle, 2 daughters, Victoria Edwards of Middletown, Delaware (Richard), Cynthia Mazzotta of Bear, Delaware (Gregory), 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a brother, Trent Norris of Painesville, Ohio (JoAnne).

She was predeceased by her loving daughter, Robin Kessler, in April, 2009.

Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday April 16, from 11am- 1 pm the service hour with Pastor Joe Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in the Norris Cemetery. Contributions in her memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at www.StJude.org.
