Donna Lea Harsh, age 71, a resident of Philippi, passed away Friday March 19, 2021 at her residence. Donna was born August 20, 1949 in Philippi, a daughter of the late Artel Lee Robinson, step father, Russell E. Morris and mother Ella Louise (Coffman) Morris. Donna was united in marriage on July 14, 1979 to Pascal Dana Harsh who preceded her in death May 28, 2018. Surviving is

Donna was also preceded in death by siblings, Dennis K. Robinson, Linda L. McQuain, and Dale L. Robinson
Donna worked as an in-home caregiver, she had worked at the Barbour County Senior Center, Reidboard’s, and was also a newspaper carrier. She loved making crafts, bead necklaces, and tending to her chickens. Donna was a people person, she enjoyed socializing with people calling and checking on friends and family near and far. She volunteered at Kidreach, and attended People’s Chapel Church. Donna was survivor and had overcome several obstacles in her life.
The family ask there be no flowers sent due to health reasons, they ask that you go visit someone and take a flower to them to brighten their day.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday March 23, from 6-8 pm and on Wednesday March 24, from 8 am -1 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm with Rev. Ruston Seaman officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Morris Cemetery. Due to the Governor’s Mandate face masks and social distancing will be required for everyone attending the services.
