Dylan James Marsh

Dylan James Marsh, age 24, a resident of Moatsville, passed away Sunday November 22, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Morgantown. Dylan was born October 1, 1996 in Elkins, a son of James and Anamarie (Weaver) Marsh who survive at Moatsville. Also surviving is- Fiancé, Tiffany Faber of Fairmont Daughter, Nova Lorene Ray Marsh of Fairmont Step-son, Tyson Faber of Fairmont Grandmother, Jane Marsh of Moatsville Several aunts, uncles and extended family Dylan was preceded in death by grandparents, Betty Rae and James Lee Weaver, and Teddy “Ted” Marsh Dylan worked as a floor hand for Coastal Drilling. He was an avid hunter and especially enjoyed bear and coon hunting, he also enjoyed sand drag racing. He was a member of the Tucker County 4-wheelers, and Faith Way Baptist Church. Dylan loved his family and did all he could for them. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday November 27, from 5-8 pm and on Saturday November 28, from 8-11 am. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am with Pastor Downing Gregory officiating. Interment will follow in the Faith Way Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Way Baptist Church, PO Box 26 Philippi, WV 26416.

  3. Jw and ana, I'm at a loss for what to say, no words can comfort you but just know that every life that dylan encountered was made better for knowing him. When I lived in moatsville he was always available to help around the farm. He will not be forgotten that's for sure. I am so sorry for your loss my thoughts are with you all.

    My heart breaks for you at this time.
    Although I didn't know Dylan well I feel like I did from all that Ana shared about him at work.
    It was extremely apparent that he was her world. I know that you both were very proud of what a good father he was to Nova.
