Ed was preceded in death by one sister, and seven brothers.
Ed retired from the US Air Force as a Tech Sergeant, he also was in charge of the survival areas on the base, and was a parachute packer, Ed also retired from the Barbour County Schools in the maintenance department.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday January 6, from 10 am- 1 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm with Rev. Ezik Norris officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
