Ed was preceded in death by brothers, Russell and Bennie Carte. He was a member of Carpenters Union Local # 1590. Ed was an avid farmer.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Sunday November 8, from 2-8 pm and on Monday November 9, from 8 am- 2 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm with Pastor Todd Mouser officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.
