Elizabeth Criss Digman age 98 a resident of Meadowview Manor Healthcare Center and a former resident of North Main St. Philippi passed away on Monday, November 6, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Barbour Co. on December 22, 1913 a daughter of the late Herman Lee and Ethel (Robinson) Criss. Surviving is

Mrs. Digman was preceded in death by two sisters Lindy Casto, and Vieva Coberly.
Mrs. Digman worked as a certified dental assistant for 18 yrs. She retired from Broaddus Hospital in 1985 as a nurse’s aide. She was a former member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club of Philippi, Philippi Tuesday Night Ladies Bowling Club, member of the AARP of Philippi, the Barbour County Senior Center of Philippi, member of the Philippi United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Ladies Bible Class, held the office of President, Secretary, and Treasury of the Ladies Bible Class for several years.

Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday November 10, from 12-1 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm with Pastor Scott Whetzel officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
