Eugene Orwin Collins

Eugene Orwin Collins, age 79, a resident of Philippi, passed away Friday April 23, 2021 at his residence. Eugene was born November 26, 1941 in Barbour Co. a son of the late Cecil Guy Collins and Ivy Daisy (Welch) Bell. Eugene was united in marriage to Martha (McClain) Collins who preceded him in death. Surviving is Son, Eugene Orwin Collins of Philippi Daughters, Lora Jean Pond and husband Charles of Philippi Elizabeth Ellen Everson and husband Harold of Junior Norma Demoss of Philippi Sister, Berdinia Lawson and husband Robert of Galloway Brother, Ronald Collins and wife Judy of Galloway 16 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 14, great grandchildren Mr. Collins was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters Mr. Collins enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory on Wednesday April 28, from 12- 1 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
