Faye Marie Markley, age 65, a resident of Volga, passed away Tuesday June 25, 2024 in the United Hospital Center. Faye was born February 25, 1959 in Springfield, NY a daughter of the late Donald S. and Goldie B. (Howser) Sullivan.
Faye loved her K-9 companions and was also a K-9 breeder. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and babysat children in her home. She was known to have babysat every child on Mt. Hebron Hill.
Surviving is her companion Robert Mayle; daughter Jessica Markley, special daughter Kloe Sullivan; five step-daughters and companions; granddaughter Maddison Smith; siblings Danny Sullivan and wife Tonda, Jeffrey Sullivan and wife Maranda, Deborah Smith and husband Kenneth, and Tony Frank; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Goldie Sullivan; husband Dorsey Markley; brother Earl Sullivan; and nephew Jacob Sullivan. She will be greatly missed and loved by all. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity or organization of your choice.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and on-site Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday July 1, from 9 am- 2 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Donna Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
